Personal Brand Development

Seven-Step Framework

1.  Define your Strengths.“Who Am I?"

Strengths are the intersection of passions and skills. Have you heard the same compliment repeated to you by your peers?  This may be a strength quality; jot this down below. (Ex. Have you been told you are superb about paying attention to detail; that you display integrity or professionalism?)  You could be a good cook or one who is organized.

List your Strengths: ____________________________________________________________

2. Define your Target Audience.  Describe the audience who needs to be aware of your personal brand? Who is your broadest-based audience, i.e., women, men, families, children, teachers, etc.? From within that audience, can you find a target population? (Ex. Women, aged 55-75 or families who exercise together)

3. What are the needs, wants, problems, and desires of my target audience and how do my strengths align to satisfy them? List strengths from answers #1 above into column #1 below.  List your target audience needs in column #2 below.  Match your strengths with audience needs.
